Set within a compact 0.204-acre plot in Accra, this modern multi-family dwelling offers a thoughtful blend of efficiency, comfort, and elegance — all while honoring Ghana’s architectural heritage. Commissioned by a private client, the design serves as a mixed-use residential space tailored for families seeking quality rental housing with a homely feel.

Inspired by the raw beauty of nature and the earthy tones, the project reinterprets cultural warmth through a contemporary minimalist lens. The building is articulated with clean lines, stone cladding, and subtle material contrasts that give it a timeless character.

The layout consists of two spacious 2-bedroom family units on the ground floor, and a single 3-bedroom unit on the first floor — all carefully designed to promote privacy and natural light. Each bedroom features its own balcony, providing residents with personal outdoor space and a connection to the environment.

Sustainability is embedded in the design through passive cooling strategies and rainwater harvesting systems, reducing resource consumption while enhancing user comfort. Natural ventilation flows through each unit, minimizing reliance on mechanical cooling and contributing to a healthier living environment.
